The Parent Project Training Series® (a virtual workshop series)
The Parent Project® is a 10-week workshop for parents / guardians designed to address many of the challenges they face including a strong-willed child, poor school performance, media influence, violence and more. Each class is 2 hours long.
Parent Project ® Jr. Loving Solutions (Ages 5 - 10) Each class is from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Loving Solutions is a parent-training program specifically designed for parents raising difficult younger children, ages 5-10 years. With special application to ADD / ADHD issues, Loving Solutions employs a behavioral model to help parents both motivate children to do constructive tasks and manage unwanted behaviors. - Learn how to never argue with your child again! - Improve school performance - Stop unwanted behaviors
And
Parent Project®, Sr. Changing Destructive Adolescent Behavior (CDAB). A program designed for raising adolescents in today's world. (Ages 11-22) Each class is from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
At the heart of Parent Project®, Sr., is the Changing Destructive Adolescent Behavior curriculum that focuses on the most challenging behaviors for adolescents. West End SELPA workshops will include consideration of students with disabilities.
Dates for both series are: 10-05-21 / 10-12-21 / 10-19-21 / 10-26-21 / 11-02-21 / 11-09-21 / 11-16-21 / 11-30-21 / 12-07-21 / 12-14-21 (there is no class on November 23, 2021 due to the holiday break)
Intended Audience: Parents of strong-willed children (This program is for ADULTS only.)
Fee: Free for our parents who reside in the West End SELPA service area.
